Brady Poppinga

Brady Poppinga – Perennial Fit 4 The Cause Kind of Guy

We are most excited about 2010 Super Bowl Champion Brady Poppinga who joins us as a major obstacle smasher! His late night television style interview with FOX Sports Talk Radio host Tomm Looney promises to be quite entertaining.

Brady Paul Poppinga is a highly respected obstacle smasher! His high motor performance, speed, and agility always kept him on top of his game. Athletic injury never kept him down for very long.

Mr. Poppinga is an American football linebacker who is currently a free agent. Drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the fourth round of the NFL Draft in 2005, he enjoyed many years of success with the NFL team.   Poppinga also signed with the St. Louis Rams and Dallas Cowboys later in his NFL career. He played college football at BYU.

In addition to his commitment to athletic excellence, Mr. Poppinga is a serial philanthropist. While attending BYU, he worked as a motivational speaker at a school for troubled teenagers and taught Sunday school in his church organization. He postponed his college football career for two seasons while serving as a missionary in Uruguay, South America. He currently acts as a youth leader, giving hour-long motivational and moral lessons weekly as well as supporting other youth activities. He has supported the Boy Scouts of America and American Family Insurance Military Cap Campaign through public service announcements. A participant in the All-Pro Dad event, he encouraged fathers to become more involved in their children’s lives. He also recorded an intro for one of the units included in the Green Bay Packers Fit Kids program.   His charitable contributions are never-ending and we are honored by his Fit 4 The Cause support.

He married Brooke Hubbard in 2002 and enjoys family time with their 4 children.

WORLD FAMOUS MUD RUN AT CAMP PENDLETON IS DIRTY, DIRTY BUSINESS

You Pledged—We Committed and Conquered!

Our prestigious Board of Directors navigated muddy waters to raise money and awareness for health needs. Our brilliant webmaster, Chris Woo created a crowd funding system through Group Rev’s digital platform allowing our civilian marines to engage in their own fundraising campaigns. Our Board commanded over 50% of our overly ambitious financial goals. Now we all know we just have to work harder next year. Special thanks to our board’s ambitious “fun”-raisers, Hallie Blau, Dee Levy, Eric Hunt, Henry Eshelman, Chris Woo, Brian Sullivan and Dr. Lorne Label. Board Counsel, David Adelman and F4TC Founder, Cindy Rakowitz mud wrestled everyone into action ensuring mud-raising success. Special shout goes to our filthy partners in crime, Stevenson Fitness. Lisa Stevenson hosted an extraordinary pre-event carb load dinner at Buca di Beppo.
