Cold-Pressed Juices
We’re beginning to see cold-pressed juiceries popping up faster than Starbucks these days and you may be seeing these juices uploaded on every social media platform. You’re probably asking yourself: “what is all the hype about cold-pressed juices and what the heck does cold-pressed even mean!?”
Although juice cleansing has become one of the biggest diet fads of this generation, and in my opinion a risky challenge to take, there are actual benefits to consuming these cold-pressed juices in addition to an meal or as a snack.First off, it is the quickest and the tastiest way to consume those fruits and vegetables you would not be able to eat entirely on its own. With the mixture of flavors, it makes it a much more convenient way to consume a variety of fruits and vegetables.

But lets take a closer look as to what “cold-pressed” actually means…

Cold-pressed is a very slow and careful process of hydraulically extorting fruit and vegetable juice, giving you the highest quality of nutrients and the freshest tasting juice as possible. With this precise process, there is minimal air and heat so minimal oxidation occurs, keeping all the nutrients and enzymes in tact, which are normally killed off by the heat in centrifugal juicers.
