Two Join Board of Fit 4 The Cause Non-Profit
Juan C. Ros and Rebecca Buck are the two newest board members of Fit 4 the Cause, a Conejo Valley-based nonprofit that provides licensed fitness instruction and nutrition education for at-risk teens, fragile seniors and vulnerable seniors in low-income communities.
Both were elected to the board of directors on Jan. 31.
Buck, of Simi Valley, is the director of business operations for Los Robles Homecare Services in Thousand Oaks, where she has worked since 2004. With a background in marketing, she has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State Polytechnic University Pomona.
“After three and a half years of sustainable operation, Fit 4 the Cause Inc. continues to attract seasoned professionals who are ambitious about taking this entrepreneurial non-profit to the next level,” said the organization’s founder, Cindy Rakowitz, of Thousand Oaks.
